graffitiI’m Mary, your four-eyed window into the world of New York City and beyond. Thought you should know first off that these are real glasses. Ok? I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 4 years old, so I’m REAL. Not like those hipsters with their fake no-lens glasses.

I live on the Upper West Side, work in the travel industry, freelance for a few lifestyle magazines and things I love include the same things you love; eating, exploring NYC, traveling, writing, taking pics, cooking, cookies, cats, reading and the show Chopped.

I’ll be your view into the life of a New Yorker – from where to eat that’s cool without breaking the bank, what to do for free on the weekends, how to decorate your apartment on the cheap, where to go for a special night out, where to take the family when they visit. Hope I can sort through all that is New York, and tell you the most worthwhile places to go and things to see.
