Canal Street Market is coming to…well…Canal Street (right where Chinatown meets SoHo meets TriBeCa). It seems like it’s going to be a street-market/art museum amalgam.

What I know:
- There will be a bunch of artsy shops, opening October 13th
- The food portion of the market will open November 1st
It should be insanely artsy. It says there’s going to be an artist residency program, an according to their Instagram, the first artist is Stef Halmos, who will be making lots of squishy things:
The food section will include Yori Nori (a brand new concept from the owners of Korila and Mokbar), Davey’s Ice Cream and Boba Guys.
More to come! Be sure to follow me on Facebook for more real-time updates!
We read about this and we’re really hoping there are going to be some new food offerings! Would love it if they could recreate some of that Flushing magic in Chinatown. 🙂

[…] went to the location inside the new Canal Street Market. So nice in there by the way…BUT I DIGRESS. Davey’s was there, flaunting its fancy flavors. […]
