Last night I was able to attend the official launch of French Restaurant Week at Gaby Brasserie Francaise at the Sofitel New York hotel. After a couple glasses of champagne, some brie and charcuterie, I was plunged deep into the world of French New York City. I realized – Oo la la! – there are many French events coming up, and I wanted to alert you of all the ways you can start your new life as a francophile.
Say bonjour to all these awesome French events starting this weekend!

Bastille Day is this Sunday the 12th from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. running all the way across 60th street on the east side. Grab a crepe, enjoy the can-can dancers and enter to win a trip to Paris!
French Restaurant Week
From July 13 – 19, you can experience all the best French Restaurants in NYC for $17.89, $35.78 and/or $178.90. Reserve a spot on OpenTable.com.
Best of France
On September 26th and 27th, Times Square will EXPLODE with the fashion, gastronomy and beauty of France. Best of France is a major event that will have you speaking French in no time and yelling Vive la France! in the streets.
