Tomorrow, I’m venturing to the MoMA Ps1 in Long Island City. They have these cool interactive performances each Sunday, called the “Sunday Sessions” and I was invited to check it out.
The only issue, as you New Yorkers know, is the 7 train. It is a train most people avoid on the weekends due to relentless construction. If you don’t hear back from me, just know I am stuck on the 7 train in a tunnel under the East River.

The session I’m attending brings together fashion icons from New York City. Throughout the day, mavens such as Patricia Field, costume designer for Sex and the City, Pat Cleveland, one of the first African American supermodels, and Glenn O’Brien, one of the members of Andy Warhol’s Factory will be regaling stories of their pasts through garments or material objects.
I’ll check it out tomorrow and report back! Never been to the MoMA Ps1 before, so expect lots of artsy instagrams.
Tomorrow’s event is from 12-6, and is $15* per person.
